Janet Arnold

MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), RECE, Triple P Practitioner

Janet Arnold is the Owner and Director of Finding Solutions, where she practises as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She is also a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), a certified Triple P Practitioner, and a consultant with a focus on psychotherapy and parent consultation.

Janet holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has completed additional training in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. Janet also draws from elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based strategies, and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Her professional development includes certifications in ADHD, suicide intervention (ASIST), and parenting support through the Triple P Program.

Her professional experience includes individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as consultation and program development. Janet collaborates with educators, schools, and community agencies to deliver training and develop resources that support inclusive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practices.

In addition to her clinical work, Janet is the author of the award-winning children's book What Do You See When You Take a Look at Me? and the co-author of How to Explain a Diagnosis to a Child: An Interactive Resource Guide for Parents and Professionals.

She is the Bullying Prevention Partnership Chair and actively contributes to various community working groups. Janet holds memberships with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), the Learning Disabilities Association of York-Simcoe, and the Centre for Exceptional Children.

Nick Taglione

MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Nick Taglione is an Associate Therapist in independent practice, working in affiliation with Finding Solutions. He is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Nick is also a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

Nick earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brock University and is a passionate advocate for individuals living with invisible illnesses, particularly Crohn’s disease. He has volunteered with the Free Counselling Society of Canada and holds a certificate in General Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder from Harvard Medical School.

Nick prioritizes creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space guided by a compassionate and holistic approach. He draws from modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Nick works with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, men’s issues, chronic illness, sexuality, self-esteem, and stress. He offers a free consultation to help ensure a good therapeutic fit for new clients.
